CONSISTENT SERVICE EXCELLENCE FROM S.A. AIRLINK

On Wednesday 02 March 2022, my life-partner and I flew on a S.A. Airlink flight from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) to Cape Town and we returned to Johannesburg on an S.A. Airlink flight on Monday 07 March 2022. What a wonderful airline experience from the moment we checked in. The team at the boarding gate were smart, bright and friendly and, the “on board” cabin crew were amazing. We stepped into a newish and spotlessly clean and modern Embraer Jet and were warmly welcomed by the cabin crew. Our flight (Flight No: 4Z905) left JHB perfectly on time and we landed on time in Cape Town under blistery windy conditions. As an old pilot myself, I was most impressed with the near perfect landing under those conditions, with the First Officer whose name is “Brad,” flying us on the leg from JHB to CTWN and ,who executed that excellent landing. Well done Brad! But what impacted my partner and myself the most and caused me to write this review, was the fantastic service and interactions that we as passengers received from the smiling, smart, well-spoken, and incredibly friendly and efficient cabin team. The “In Charge” flight attendant was “Maxine,” who was assisted by “Tiara.” What a pleasure it was to be on such a flight, which set the tone for a wonderful week for myself and my partner in Cape Town and on the West Coast. We flew back to JHB on Monday afternoon 07 March 2022, on S.A. Airlink Flight no 4Z920. Lo and behold, we experienced the same! To add to that, we landed at OR Tambo International Airport 15 minutes ahead of schedule, flying again in a modern and clean Embraer Jet. I unfortunately did not obtain the cabin crew or flight crew details for that flight. However, like Maxine and Tiara on our flight to Cape Town, the JHB bound cabin crew were fantastic. Well done Team S.A. Airlink. You have two new brand ambassadors and, we will certainly fly with you again and then again. Also, how wonderful it is to see, in these troubled times in our beautiful country South Africa, that there are brands, people and teams “getting it right.” Again, well done Team S.A.
