Complete disregard of Covid 19 protocols

I recently flew from Johannesburg to Pietermaritzburg on SA Airlink. Despite the country going through a pandemic, there was no social distance or covid protocols being adhered to.

After going through the boarding gate, passengers used a bus to get to the plane. The bus was packed to full capacity with us literally standing on top of each other!

I do understand that we are at level 1 Covid restrictions, I feel that protocols should be followed. Passengers are not even sanitized before boarding the plane.

Furthermore the plane was also packed to capacity with no spacing between passengers. The fact that we were allowed to eat and drink on the plane was very surprising given the fact that the country is currently suffering with the Omicron variant and infection rate is very high.
