Airlink tickets

I actually have more of a question then anything else. We have fly several times with airlink as it is the only company fly from Upington. We do have a death in the family and want to fly to attend, but my word, it is beyond expensive. Why on earth if you have to make a booking on a short notice, have to pay like R2000 per person more.

They have to fly from Upington, it is not an extra flight. The same over holidays and the so called peak seasons. To me this is unnecessary and only a way to make more money out of people. This make me very disappointed in Airlink, I wish there could be other airlines to give them competition.
