Airlink is a nightmare. Do not travel with Airlink. Your holidays will be ruined by Airlink.

Do not ever travel with Airlink.

Last month I travelled to Namibia from Johannesburg with Airlink.

I paid for extra weight. Please be sure that you are given your boarding pass, as they keep it until you pay for extra weight and when you have already paid for it, they still keep the boarding pass.

Besides, when I arrived in Windhoek my suitcase was broken (one wheel). When I claimed for the damage I realised that many passengers where claiming because they had not received their suitecases. Most of those passengers travelled on businnes class and many of them where going to make a tour all around Namibia, so their holidays were a nightmare thanks to Airlink.

I was told that I should claim for the suitcase in Johannesburg, as I was only going to spend some days in Namibia and I was given a receipt saying that the suitcase was broken.

When I arrived back in ORL Tambo nobody was at Airlink desk for bagagge claim.

I called them some days after my arrival and I was told that I had to fill in a claiming form and provide my flight ticket, my boarding pass, the lugagge bar code and the receipt issued at Windhoek airport. Furthermore I should take the suitcase to the airport for assesment. Airlink should decide wether to repair it or to substitute it for another one (bad quality of course, because for AIRLINK that is what you desire).

So if you want to make sure that you will arrive to your destination, that you will receive your luggage and that your suitcase will be in perfect conditions or you will get an indemnisation in case is broken DO NOT, PLEASE DO NOT TRAVEL WITH AIRLINK.

Airlink has proved to be the worst airline ever.
