Airlink added to that ever growing list of SA failed airline

My family and I booked tickets in May for the August long weekend. We proceeded to check in online the night before to avoid the ques. By the time we needed to be boarded we were told the aircraft was down graded and we were no longer on the system. This then happened to several other passengers who booked well in advance for the flight to PE.

The cabin crew who were assisting us with the boarding passes processed to tell us that it’s not their problem that we were kicked off. We asked for the manager and they refused to call him. They offered us the next flight out which was only the following day.

As we traveled far and had arranged for shuttle service and accommodation. We had to forfeit that money due to Airlinks unprofessional service and rude bedside manner.

I’m actually disgusted how we were treated.

The way Airlink is carrying on, they will find themselves to that ever growing list of failed South African domestic airlines.
