Air tickets gifted by someone, accidentally registered the wrong name (as indicated on the ID), because they did not know. I contacted Airlink the very next day to try rectify. They refused to assist in any way other than having to pay an EXTRA R690 for a name change. This was not a name change to a different person…it was the same person, just wrong 1st name (again, person that gifted the tickets did not know there was a difference between what they call my wife and name on ID) I think it is ridiculous for Airlink to charge R690 for a clerical mistake, something that will take 30 seconds to rectify on a computer
