was given a quote of for the work
was given a quote of for the work. After the work was completed, the amount demanded was much more than the original quotation. Suddenly an extra labour fee was added to the call out fee we agreed on. When I disputed the additional amount, Pieter refused to give me back my gate keys unless I paid the amount he was demanding. I felt I was effectively forced to pay because he was in possession of my keys and would not return them. I eventually paid, but I strongly object to the way this was handled. If additional work or costs arise, I believe the customer should be informed before the additional cost is incurred and given the opportunity to agree to it. No additional work was even done. I would not use this company again based on this experience
