Airbreeze carpet & upholstery cleaners ruin chair

I have used Airbreeze cleaners on more than one occasion, and their work has been good. However, this last time I used them, Gerad came to clean and I have been completely dissatisfied and appalled by his work and after sales assistance.

I called to have one single arm chair cleaned before a move. When I got home, they had cleaned both my arm chair and my couch, and they were soaking wet, to the point that a cloth pushed into them still drew water out.

Although it was nice to have the extra chair cleaned, the wetness was now leaving water marks on the couch and chair as I tried to get them dry under fans.

As for my single arm chair, which was my great grandmothers. The fabric has been so terribly over worked that the fabric has been damaged and lightened in spots and the water has caused internal damage which is now creating brown stains along the base of the chair.

When I called Gerad, he said how it must have been from the weather that the chair was cold for too long but he would come and have a look. He did collect and re-cleaned the chair and when he delivered it, the chair looked okay.

Over the next two weeks the brown stains caused from the wetness of the first clean came back and the lightness spots worsened.

His solution, he now wants to bleach my entire chair - This would ruin the fabric completely. I asked for them to recover the chair as the damage done has been done by the over chemical work and wetness left in the chair.

All he did was talk over me and say it’s not his fault rather than just letting me talk and explain the issues.

I had to ask him to leave and sadly will not be using him or referring him ever again.
