Warning to hosts - AirBnB does not care about you

AirBnB no longer cares about hosts. They have taken the "customer is always right" to the extreme, allowing guests to log complaints & write negative reviews for literally anything. Nothing is fact checked by them, even if you raise a concern that the guest is being unreasonable or what they are saying is not true. You're left with threats about getting your listing removed & the onus is on you to try fight this. That guest happily moves on to make another host's life miserable. If you're thinking about listing your property on AirBnB, please take this into consideration. There are many other platforms available, AirBnB is not what it used to be. The platform is oversaturated as well, which means you have to keep cutting your daily rates to compete. Guests are always pushing for some kind of discount as well and this feeds into them coming up with reasons to complain to force your hand. Very negative experience of late. I am currently exploring other listing platforms because of this.
