Airbnb is one of the most ********* platforms I’ve used. I made a booking which had to be cancelled. Host had collected a security deposit off the platform which was allowed by Airbnb because the host listed his place as a hotel which allows such listings to do so. The host then disappeared off Airbnb and now I note they are back using a different listing host name and Airbnb will still not assist me with getting my security deposit amount. What’s worse is that the host is back on the platform, it begs the question on how they vet these people.

Further to it very little regulation has been done to such industries therefore it holds them to have very little accountability when such issues arise.

I will not use this platform again
