Stay away from Airbnb

I made a booking with a Super Host called Lee in KZN. He advertises his place as located in Morningside yet the real location is in Berea. This is in the Hillbrow area of Durban! He further advertises that there is free on-site parking but misleads then with a second line saying street parking. When you get there you need to park your vehicle in 31 Bornick Road. This area is not safe at all so stay away. I arrived with my wife and two blond girls and immediately made my way out of the unsafe neighborhood. I thought I had the backing of Airbnb in these type of scenarios. I was mistaken - they simply made it my problem and said I had to do my homework better. They also decided not to force the Super Host to amend his listing to include accurate information.

Stay away from Airbnb and make sure you don't book with Lee the Super Host with the tittle Newly renovated modern apartment - Morningside AND/OR Secure, central, modern apartment - Berea. Both these places are part of the same complex and BOTH are in Berea!!!
