Sharon was very unprofessional and provided false information

We are utterly disappointed and angry with the terrible experience we had and the service we received by the Airbnb and Valley view (Mogwase) accommodation.

Place we arrived at looks completely different from the one that was shown in the Airbnb website. According to the Airbnb site Sharon is the host but that is completely false. When we arrived at our accommodation (Valley View) we learned that Sharon is not the host but she was someone who puts out an ad on airbnb site on behalf of the actual host and earn a commission. Some of the amenities listed on this place in the Airbnb site are not available at this place and info provided on the Airbnb site is false. Example – one of the amenities that were listed in the Airbnb site but doesn’t exist in the valley view was the kitchen. According to the Airbnb the site it says – Kitchen (Space where guest can cook their own meals) but the owner told us that kitchen doesn’t exist and guests are not allowed to cook their own meals and if guests want he can prepare the meals which are available in the menu. We had a couple of vegetarians in the group and there were no vegetarian meals in the menu. So we stuck in a situation where we can’t cook our meals or order a vegetarian meal. One of the reasons we chose this place due to the fact that it was clearly mentioned that we can cook our meals. When I contacted Sharon regarding the kitchen her response very poor and unacceptable. This is what happened – initially, she didn’t respond to my phone calls and messages, eventually when i managed to get hold of her the response was that there is nothing she can do regarding the kitchen if the owner doesn’t allow the guests to cook their own meals. Relationship between Sharon and the actual owner is so terrible that the owner was upset and he didn’t want to speak to Sharon (this is messy) Some of the facilities and amenities in this place are in really terrible condition – just to highlight a few of the many issues we had: Flush in the bathrooms don’t work properly, there is no hot water in some of the rooms, beds are not very hygienic and my kid spent most of the night scratching, air conditioning wasn’t working properly and etc. Breakfast – there weren’t many options in the breakfast menu, it wasn’t a buffy and breakfast was very ordinary and the fruits were not fresh. Response was very poor when we reported these issues about the facilities and Sharon (host according to the AIRBNB website) told us that she is not responsible for these issues and we must contact the owner. So-called host Sharon was very unprofessional, provided false information, and her communication and the way in which she handling the guests was pathetic. We are utterly disappointed and this is not what we expected from Airbnb and Sharon (called the host). Not worth the money we spent.
