Prolonged refund!

Most terrible experience ever money went out of my account and host didnt have any idea for approval of booking, air bnb states in 15 days money will be refunded how does one book into another place if money is only going to be given back after taken out of ones account in 15 days. What does one do in an instant like this air bnb has no brains that they have taken money for an accommodation not given to someone and leave them to find another way with no money.
