Online booking service is robbing us blind

AirBnb has proven that they are not very intelligent people who work there. I have pointed out to the support person who answered the call I had with her that the Ad posted on the site says sleeps 4 people, as an example, however, during the booking process or the search process, the price changes according to the number of guests for the place.

Now if the price changes according to the number of guest and the Advert does not say Per person sharing, IS it false advertising on the part of AirBNB or the accomodation?

My logic tells me that the PLatform is at fault and that is why businesses are not making money, cos the platform are outpricing them.

Don't get me wrong, it is all these platforms, not only AirBnB! I just had the displeasure of speaking to an agent from AirBnB who tows the company line of "It isn't our fault" instead of, we will escalate to the technical team, after I explained it to her in a language a five year old would be able to understand.
