Misinformation from Airbnb and holiday rent agent Cathy of prop247.

I rented a holiday flat from the 18th to the 23rd of March in Villa Royale holiday flats in Kwazulu in the Ballito area through Property 24 agent. We asked for beach front accommodation with easy access to the beach. It was beach front and the flat was ok and the view beautiful, but the access to the beach was impossible ! one had to climb down a bout 100 very steep bad steps with parts where there is no railing only to arrive onto a whole lot of very sharp rocks leading to a tiny piece of beach. I am 70 years old with a bad knee and was with my niece and her 2 young children. I ask you how is it possible to go up and down those stairs a few times a day. I would have to be taken up by stretcher after a few times, No one in the building uses that beach. They all get in their cars and go elsewhere. The building manager told me they have endless trouble with people coming in and not knowing how the beach access really is. We went to have a relaxing holdiday and not to have to run around in our car. We informed the agent Cathy who said she didnt know about the steps . I our original messages when I asked about beach access she said a few minutes down a Slope.....not 100 steps precipitous and dangerous stairs. we stayed the one night and agreed to pay for that> WE contacted air B&B to try and get a refund and they kept referring us to different agents and at one stage tney said the agent had agreed to refund half. I refused and said of the 7650 we paid I want at least 6300 which was shown on the agents web sight. She now refuses to refund anything and says she informed us. I can swear to the fact that she did not. Airbnb have now washed their hand off agreeing with her. We had to re rent elsewhere which cost us 10000 as it was a long weekend . We have now thrown 7650 away....this is not acceptable. It was bad advertising and misinformation.
