left in the dark by Airbnb and host Chrina Els from Thabazimbi

i booked thru a host on the 5th of October 2020. it is a super host so i paid deposit of R4523.00. the other half would be deducted just before we go down. we didn't look for any other accommodation as we were booked. our hos was Chrisa Els from Thabazimbi, her unit is Uvongo Beach Traqulity, 62 Colin str, Uvongo. She's a Super host at Airbnb. i trusted the site and the super host. From the 5th of October there was no problems we booked the flights and we had our food go down with friends as we cannot take a lot on the plane. the thickets we cant refund so were set. ok so on the public holiday the 16th of December just after 7 i was notified that our booking has been cancelled by the host and our money will be paid back to us. She accepted our accommodation she took the money and she cancelled 8 day's before we were suppose to book in, This host is not looking at the consumer protection act, if by any means she has to cancel she has to get me accommodation same or better and the difference is her treat. so she cancelled my booking 8 day's before my booking time cause she couldn't accommodate me......cause i believe she got someone else for a better price so to this host highest bidder wins. also i was given back R500 less then what i paid.......why cause Airbnb work in us currency. that's what caused the R500 knock i took and it is for my account. so the only accommodation that i could get was a 2 bedroom unit that the power has been cut so we will have a december holiday without no power cause we had something and this super host took the highest bidder over loyalty. she is a super bad host no communication she will take your money and put you on the street. i wish i had the money to sue her cause you might be the next loser. she doesnt have any pride nor does she value customer or service. be very careful and you will lose money with airbnb and their hosts, yes she will get a hefty fine how does it help me im still R500 short and im spending my festive season in the dark cause we took an oath to take a 13 year old girl to the sea in memory of her father who passed november. hook or by croock i stand by my word and my word is my honor i cant say the same about Chrisna Els from Thabazimbi nor Airbnb. hefty fines doesn't help me at all. look where they left me.............in the dark and oh sorry.
