I’m extremely disappointed with Airbnb

I’m extremely disappointed with Airbnb. They can apparently hold your payout for up to 45 days if they wish — and that’s exactly what happened to me. My payout was supposed to be sent within 24 hours on October 14, but it’s now been moved to November 10. That’s almost a month of waiting with no explanation or urgency. It’s unacceptable for a company that relies on hosts to treat us this way. I’ve even heard of cases where payouts are delayed for months, sometimes up to 10 months or indefinitely. Airbnb clearly doesn’t care about the hosts who make their platform possible. It’s time for hosts to start building direct booking websites and reduce dependence on Airbnb.
