Do not book online with Airbnb

I stayed in an Airbnb about 6 months ago and the accommodation was great. However yesterday my banking account was hacked with numerous bookings taken from my credit card. I queried this with Airbnb but they are reluctant to even investigate as they say the booking references are incorrect. Obviously the security on the Airbnb is not very secure so i suggest that nobody books online with Airbnb.
