Disgusted by their service and unprofessionalism

Good day,

Me and my friends booked a place in Sandton well in advance and paid the full amount for our stay. We received the confirmation email and details of our host Hillary Gomwe. We are from Cape Town and our flights were booked well in advance as well.

Sadly a day before our departure Hillary Gomwe contacts is to say that there is a double booking and she can’t accommodate us. Long story sort out booking got cancelled and we left with no accommodation. Stressed out as we will only receive(hopefully) our money in 3-5 working days.

This is so unprofessional and sad to say the least. We had to start the process of searching for a place all over again. I’m disgusted by Airbnb and the host Hillary Gomwe. No friends or family of mine will be using this app cause it’s pathetic!! We had to pay more money for different place, stress levels were.
