Appauling Services and No Accountability

Made a booking in July for 30 December 2024 - 7 February 2025. Only finding out today, when enquiring if they have a fan. To hear he host is no longer in business. Prices have more than doubled, only assistance is a refund and 20% discount. I am not at fault here. Airbnb has my details and payments received for reservation. I was supposed to be notified and not finding out by calling the host. We have made reservation for places we visiting. The level of service is disappointing and level of accountability appauling. Airbnb is unreliable. I stay in PE and made reservations in Durban, imagine if I didn't contact them, I would rocked up at the venue, with my friends, in Durban, only to find out that my reservations have been cancelled. How humiliating...
