Airbnb is no help with ************ hosts

Due to missing my flight I had to make a last minute booking on Airbnb for accommodation, I carefully checked that my selected host allowed check-in at that time, yet received no reply. I had to make alternative plans for a guest house on another platform. The next morning I find that my request to book has been accepted and my account charged, at 6AM in the morning! I don't know how the host expected me to check in for a few hours at that amount, then on cancellation she refused to return my money, I have tried to resolve this through the Airbnb Resolution Centre and have received no reply , that was over 2 months ago.
