This experience feels nothing short of a legal ****. I booked Industrial Top Floor Cape Town City Centre (hosted by Konrad) and paid the full amount upfront. A few days later, I realized I had selected the wrong dates — an honest mistake — and immediately reached out to both Airbnb and the host to request a date change.

The booking was for end of September, and I made the request in early June — well in advance. Yet the host flat-out refused to assist and Airbnb offered no real support. In the end, I lost over 80% of my booking fee — for a stay that’s still months away.

This is not hospitality. It’s a money trap. There is no flexibility, no customer care, and certainly no empathy.

Be extremely cautious when booking this property or anything hosted by Konrad. If something goes wrong, you’re on your own — and you’ll likely lose your money. Book at your own risk.
