Airbnb: Good for guests, terrible for superhosts

After dedicating 8 years to Airbnb as a superhost, tirelessly contributing to its success with every booking, I find myself deeply disheartened by the lack of support from the supposed 'superhost' assistance. Airbnb seems to view hosts not as individuals with unique circumstances, but as mere cogs in a profit-driven machine. Their support agents engage in a cycle of passing responsibility, offering little consistency or personal attention to our concerns. What's more alarming is the disregard for the opinions and challenges faced by experienced hosts, while prioritizing newcomers with no track record, who may deceive with false reviews. Airbnb's rigid adherence to policy leaves no room for nuanced understanding or resolution. They overlook complaints made by hosts about guests, only to see those exact issues arise unchecked. Their treatment of superhosts is courteous on the surface but lacks substance, fairness, and genuine effort toward resolution.
