Airbnb cheats the hosts of property.

I Hosted a room through Airbnb and when it came to payouts Airbnb took 2 thirds of the payoit from the guests and we only received about a third of the amount owed to us. Feel this should be a warning to other airbnb hosts.....how can they be allowed to get away with it?
