AirBnb and Claudia Du Perez- Avoid at all costs

I would strongly advise against AirBnB. n January 2018 I booked holiday accommodation in Mosselbay for December 2018-January 2019. Two days before departure I was informed that the property had been sold and the booking cancelled. AirBnb suggested two alternatives, but as soon as I booked, the booking would be accepted and the fee taken form my credit, just to immediately get an e-mail from the property's host to inform me that the property is not available. AirBnb therefore advertise and accept payments for properties that are not available. This is as far as I am concerned a ********** business. They had R15 000 of my money for 10 months to draw interest on and for that I get nothing.
