Airbnb a **** and their Hosts
Airbnb Ireland - Callan, the issue is full payment before your start your stay in that house. It's pretty much a **** then after paying over €3000 to stay in a house full of spiders and spider webs, no indication of having been used in a while, stuffy house with a stench smell of mold. This house is old with old utensils, pretty much nothing here is worth being given to anyone let alone visitors. They refused to refund us for days not stayed as we want to move out of here and go somewhere more decent. Airbnb also is with them saying they must first get a booking of all the days we are counseling before we are refunded. What kind of business idea is this if not a ****? Must we be homeless in a foreign country after paying someone for services that are not rendered or decent? We are new in this country coming in with our weak currency to be ****med out by Airbnb and their hosts even worse in a country where accommodation is a huge problem and very costly. I was disappointed at their business model (Airbnb), they register partners and take pictures as confirmation and accuracy of what they are offering but guess what pictures are not matching what we get in most places. How can Airbnb confirm their hosts before listing them on their website? Also refunds must be clear and indicated easily without dealing with greedy hosts who holds people's money's without reason. Airbnb must take charge of this or they are just another not well thought through model of making quick bucks.
