AirB&B, How to take ppls money

So, I book and pay for accommodation on AirB&B. I then receive confirmation of my booking and my money is taken. 2 hours later I get an email notifying my that my booking has been canceled. I then book alternate accommodation and pay for it. 2 hours later I check my bank account only to find both amounts were debited from my account. I now find myself fighting with my bank and AirB&B to get my money paid back into my account. Ppl, please be careful when booking on AirB&B because they are quick to debit your account, but very slow to send it back to the rightful owners of the money. I have just developed serious reservations about booking AirB&B. People be careful as they take money with impunity and do not care about you as a customer.
