Air Solutions deposit ****

I recently had an issue with Air Solutions demanding 50% deposit back after a month had passed with no service or communication from them. I read the T’s&C’s again (which I did not sign or send back) which stated that the 50% deposit is non-refundable if customer cancels the quote. I find this unacceptable as I am not the one breaking the agreement. I accepted the quote and paid deposit as agreed on time and after dates were discussed and promises of installation was made, the owner disappeared for weeks saying he was sick and then blamed his supplier for stock shortages in Jhb. I was fed up of excuses and demanded deposit back to make alternative plans and use the deposit money for the next vendor. Once again, after phoning and phoning I was told the deposit would be paid back and this never happened. After a week of phoning the owner and receptionist I decided to stop the chase. This is a way for taking your deposit money and doing so with a smile. I did not even sign the terms&conditions which gives them no right to withhold the deposit but all my efforts and phone calls are being ignored which shows me this is all a **** and this company is out to ***** the money. Because of owners like this, the trust of managers and companies trying to support smaller businesses, is being destroyed. You should be ashamed.
