KLM: Is this a theft of money and a cancelled ticket?

HI I held a valid ticket (miles and cash) for a CT/AMS return flight On Feb 21 I asked that the flight-booking be pushed out to August Since Feb 21st I've received NO assistance from KLM I am sure that KLM has now lost my ticket and ****** my money - can this be possible? (OH, their whatsapp bot keeps respondsing that they 'are experiencing higher than usual call volumes' MY resonse, KLM is a BUSINESS - get more staff!)
