KLM dysfunctional booking system

Booked a flight with KLM to Helsinki from Cape Town via Joburg and Amsterdam Six months ago. This flight plan was unilaterally altered by KLM four months ago to a direct flight to Amsterdam. Then one day before the flight we were informed that we have been dumped because of overbooking!!! KLM is very disfunctional and not recommended
