Hidden information on KLM bookings, you could book another airline for cheaper.

I booked a KLM flight on BudgetAir from Cape Town to Chicago, and was only clearly informed that I have 1x checked bag allowance AFTER booking and payment was done, never during the booking process was I notified or prompted that I only have 1x bag, or to add a bag. I had to go on the KLM website to purchase extra bag allowance.. That pushed my ticket costs over that of other flight options that was available with other airlines that have 2x bags as a standard. And Budget have not been helpful trying to sort this out, they keep sending me generic responses like I'm an idiot! I will never use their service again, and will urge all users to very very carefully go through the booking process, you could have booked another airline with many more benefits and no hidden tricks like I had to experience. SOO disappointing!
