I mislaid my SA passport waiting for the delayed flight AF 990 on 7th September from Charles De Gaulle to ORT. When I boarded the plane, the security official at the departure gate found my seat, and informed me they had located my passport in another part of the airport. He said \make a declaration to AF at Johannesburg"and it would be returned to me. I was relieved as were others in my travel party. The declaration was made as were a number of follow up phone calls and emails. (more than 10). The Airfrance official sent a mail that \""Carla sent a message to the duty manager at CDG but has not had a reply. Paul needs to report his passport missing and then apply for a new one\"" !! Eish"
