Can not cancel,reroute or change the name....

Well firstly on the 25th of December i missed my flight from Johannesburg to Romania and on that day i had purchased a return ticket which i only wanted a straight ticket to Romania. I was in quiet a state and didnt know what else to do as i was to meet my Husband in Romania on the 26th of November in Romania. In desperation i went to KLM which was the only place that was open at the time. The people were great to assist me in my needs but when purchasing the ticket i asked the lady for a 1 way to Romania so instead she had given me a return as she said it is to expensive in getting a straight ticket she had advised its better benefits if you take the return ticket because you can change the date and cancel if you want. There were no other rules given to me, in that state of mind i took it cause i believed that she had the best interest my of needs and that she was totally honest and up front with me. So at that point i did not receive exact rules and regulation of my ticket in verbal nor written...I wil have to do another compliant form to finish the compliant.
