THUMBS DOWN TO AMERICAN EXPRESS TRAVEL AND CANADIAN EMBASSY

We were due to fly back to South Africa fromLos Angeles Air Canada via Vancouver and then London The stopover was 2 hours in Vancouver They would not allow us on the flight as we did not have a visa for Canada No one told us we had to get a visa for our 2 hour stop over not even going into Vancouver I found out that we did not need a visa for London for our stop over there I found everyone to be very unhelpful We had to go back to Los Angeles and rebook a whole new flight back to South Africa AND PAY FOR IT as we could not get a refund THUMBS DOWN TO THE CANADIAN EMBASSY AND AMERICAN EXPRESS TRAVEL that put a dampener on our whole holiday We flew to USA via Frankfurt where we had a stopover and we also did not need an EU visa for that
