Feedback and Concerns Regarding AIMX Onboarding Process and compliment for William
I was introduced to AIMX through my brother-in-law and decided to explore the opportunity, as many South Africans—myself included—are actively seeking additional sources of income in today’s economic climate. I was initially enthusiastic following Gerhard’s sales presentation, which, as expected, was compelling and persuasive. However, I became quite concerned when I was immediately presented with an application for a loan of R70,000 and a debit order for R2,500 per month. The urgency and pressure to sign these documents directly after the pitch felt uncomfortable and left little room for reflection or clarification. What was not fully explained during the presentation was that initial training takes place on the AIMX platform, where you can make unlimited trades per day. My husband and I quickly grew our portfolios by 60% in just one week using this simulated environment. Naturally, this led to high expectations. However, we were then transitioned to the Alpaca platform, where trading is limited to only three trades per day. This limitation significantly changes the ability to generate profit, and the learning curve is much steeper. In hindsight, it appears the AIMX simulation created unrealistic expectations compared to the realities of the next stage. It is especially concerning given that I had made it clear to Gerhard that the R2,500 monthly debit order would need to be supported by trade profits, as I do not currently have that amount readily available. Ideally, the process should allow prospective clients to first understand the training platforms in full—AIMX and Alpaca—before signing contracts or taking on financial commitments. A more transparent, step-by-step introduction would build greater trust and confidence. On a positive note, I would like to commend William for his professionalism and assistance during the training—he has been incredibly supportive throughout. Thank you for considering this feedback. I hope it helps to strengthen your engagement model and build a more informed, confident client base moving forward
