HELLO PETER PLEASE HELP ME GET MY REFUND FROM AIM TRAINING ACADEMY

My name is Gershom Nkuna, Im so sad to share the following experience i encountered with the Aim Training Academy Gun shop located in white-river Mpumalanga.

I have app**** for a licence to own a Fire Arm with the SAPS. the requirement is that in applying a Licence you need to have a reference number for the the firearm you applying for meaning you can either pay a deposit to the gun shop or pay the full price pending your application.

I have paid the balance of R8500 via EFT in 2017 to the gunshop awaiting my application from the SAPS that was coupled with the motivation written by the gushop on my behalf.

On November 2017 i received an sms from the SAPS informing me that my Licence was refused. I went to the same gunshop to inform them that my Licence was refused and they promised to write another motivation for me of which they assured me that it will be approved.

On 12 April 2018 i received another sms from the SAPS informing me that my Licence was refused, that was for the second time it was refused.

On 02 May 2018 i went to the gunshop to inform them that my Licence was refused and that i wanted my refund. They requested me to leave my banking details and cellphone number including a proof of payment(Receipt) of which i also gave them and they told me i should receive my money R8500 in 5 days because it will be paid via EFT, knowing for the fact that EFT payment takes 2 business days to run i was just surprised.

On 07 May 2018 i phoned the gunshop to make a followup on my refund but i was told that my details were forwarded to the procurement/ HR official who will deal with my refund, when i asked when exactly will i get my refund they told me the least they can do is to make a follow up with the HR official and i insisted that they give me the contact details of the HR official.

I contacted him on same day 07 May 2018 and explained who iam and i was referred by his colleagues to him as he is the one making payments. He rep**** that he was not around the office for the past 10 days but he will be in the office the following day and i told him that i will give him a call the following day.

The following day on 08 May 2018 when i call him he said i misunderstood him, he meant he will be in the office on 09 May 2018 and i told him i will call him on 09 May 2018 its ok.

On 09 May 2018 i gave him a call twice but he did not pick up and then i decided to send him the sms that iam demanding my money on or before friday 11/05/2018. He rep**** saying that he will refund me but still need to find a buyer of "my gun" so that he can have money to pay me.

I rep**** to him saying that im not going to wait for him to sell "the gun" and for the record it is not my Gun because i never owned it so they must just deal with it and its none of my business whether they find a buyer or not i just want my money on or before friday 11/05/2018.

CONCLUSION

1.I never had any agreement whatsoever with the gunshop that they will first find a buyer for their gun before they can refund me.

2. Im not working for them, their 5 days of refund is null and void it does not apply to me i just want my money immediately.

3.I was puzzled by the 2 different versions, first guy said i will receive my money in 5 days and the second guy said i will only receive my money after they found a buyer for their gun.

4. nevertheless none of their versions applies to me i just want my money period. i hate it when people think they are smart and they can play you because this is exactly whats happening.
