Terrible service from AIG (hospital cash back policy)

It is the third time that I write a review about the terrible service of AIG. One of AIG's brokers sold a hospital cash back policy about 30 years ago to my parents. Everything was fine when they were healthy and not in hospital. My dad is 88.5 years old and in and out of hospital now. I refer to the following claims: ***ZA, ***ZA and ***ZA. First he was admitted with pneumonia. I sent a detailed hospital account, bloodtest results that indicated the specific bacteria, X-ray report that indicated that he had pneumonia, motivational letter from a specialist. Yet, it was not enough proof for AIG that it was necessary for him to be admitted to hospital. Lerato Mapaletsebe then requested daily diabetic charts. I sent the diabetic charts as well as the daily vitals, but did not receive any response. She is frustrating me for more than 3 months now. I sent everything to her and then she told the managers that there is still outstanding information. This is not true. I sent everything to her and I got proof. Loretta King is also doing exactly the same. I sent all the necessary information to her and still she is not satisfied. One of the claims was sent to a general practitioner and according to him it was not necessary for my dad to be in hospital for 10 days and he decided that only 4 days in hospital were necessary for my dads condition. He is only a general practitioner and did not even consult my dad. A professor in urology admitted my dad and kept him there for 10 days. This is really totally unacceptable. According to the wording of the policy the policyholder bears the onus to proof that admission and stay in hospital was necessary. I am really disgusted with AIG and will tell everyone about the terrible service and all the lies when they sell the policy.

I refer to the answer of the Customers Resolution Team. Everytime you came up with the same reply. I provided the specific documentation that you required. I sent the diabetic chart, daily glucose level and doctors notes to Lerato Mapaletsebe. Regarding the other claim, there was no X-ray taken and thus no radiology report. My dad, mr RK Jacobs is a type 2 diabetic. His diabetes is under control and he does not even use medication for diabetes. Diabetes is not the problem and your claim examiners keep on asking for diabetic charts and glucose level. Can you please explain why they are asking for that? He was admitted because he had pneumonia the first time. The second time Professor SW Wentzel inserted a suprapubic catheter and the third time the catheter was blocked. I sent all the relevant documentation which includes motivational letters from the various specialists, detailed hospital accounts, daily notes, bloodtest results that indicated the bacteria that caused pneumonia, x-ray reports that indicated the pneumonia, a letter from the urologist that motivated the insertion a suprapubic catheter. So please explain to me why Lerato keep on asking for glucose levels and diabetic charts. I sent them to her but cannot see why she keep on asking for something that is not relevant. She is just frustrating me. It is disgusting.I want answers from senior management. Nobody will take an 88 year old person to hopsital for fun and to make money out of AIG. My dad paid his premium for years and the broker could not wait to sell the policy and now AIG does not want to stick to the policy.
