Disgusting ********* behaviour

I have a hospital plan policy with AIG from 2016. They use their terms and conditions to prevent settling a claim. They require a motivational letter from a specialist and not your general practitioner. All clinical information is required and given to their so called team of medical experts who happens to be a general practitioner. He reviews all information and gives his opinion which AIG uses to reject the claim. They well aware to fight this take time and depend on that so you must cancel the policy out of frustration. Those motivation letters cost minimum R1000 THAT YOU MUST PAY AND THEY TELL YOU ITS COMPULSORY FOR CLAIM TO BE ASSESSED. SAD REPORTING THEM TO THE OMBUDSMAN NEVER HELP. THESE DOCTORS OVER RODE JUST ABOUT ALL MY CLAIMS. THEY OCERRODE SPECIALIST PHYSICIANS, cardiologists, neurologist and even a gynaecologist and obstetrician in another case.

 Good day Mr J Munsamy

Thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to our attention. At AIG we take pride in being fair and transparent with our customers.

We have reviewed your claims and the process followed. We would like to remind you that we pay valid claims and therefore you are requested to provide supporting evidence to substantiate your stay in hospital if it exceeds the required time. We have provided you this opportunity and have therefore paid the days in hospital that were clinically validated for the condition.

We hope you understand our decision. Should you have additional information for us to consider, we are more than willing to review your claims.

Kind regards
The Resolution Team
