Claim Rejected

I was hospitalised on the the 19/11/2014 to the 24/11/2014 due to a pelvic inflamantory disease & I registered my claim with AIG in Jan 2015 & today I got a call from their representative telling me that the claim was rejected and not going to be paid out. I was given a reason that because the Doctor Who admitted me did not have a scope done it didn't qualify for my condition to be admitted in hospital. What I don't understand is that why should the doctor do a scope for it when he still had other means to use to treat me which a scope by the way was going to cost me more than even what I am claiming from AIG. The doctor will only have a scope done as a result of me not responding to the treatment for some time. To me this is one of this insurance company's lousy excuse to not pay me out. I have consulted the doctor who treated me and he confirmed that there is no Specified regulations on treatment of my condition, and you only have a scope for the patient if they don't respond to the treatment & condition persists.I will no longer want to be part of this insurance company to be taken for a ride like this after being with them for years. I'm also taking it further with ombudsman
