AIG Travel Insurance
<p>Be warned people. I booked a return ticket on Mango Airlines from CT to Bloem. Next thing i see a charge of R820 on my Standard Bank MasterCard for travel insurance. After many calls to Mango Airlines and Standard Bank, it turns out that the debit was from AIG Travel Insurance which i did not purchase. Apparently AIG have an automatic mandate from Standard Bank to debit R820 for any ticket booked - local or international. They apologised and have agreed to refund me but say that if i didn't call them then they would not have refunded me. This cannot be legal!! I've logged a complaint with AIG as well as Standard Bank asking to show proof of this debit 2 days ago. Still no response.</p>
