AIG refuses to pay on hospital policies if you have anxiety even if it is caused by hypokaelemia
MY wife died on 22 April 2020. She was admitted to the Union with hypokaelemial on 17 April 2020. While in hospital she died of hypokaelemia on 22 April 2020. AIG refused to pay for the time she was in hospital because she had co-morbid problems of depression and and anxiety. On her full death certificate her cause of death was stated as hypokaelemia, the co-morbid problems she had, did not affect the diagnosis of hypokaelemia.The policy excludes a claim where the co-morbid condition are concerned. My hospital claim was for the hypokaelemia which ****ed her in the end. If you trust AIG to treat you fairly you better think twice. The implication is that if you have anxiety after a car accident your claim will be refused.
