Most disturbing private hospital one could be admitted to.

At first, the staff was friendly and helpful more especially the porters who were extremely helpful from the get-go. Surgical ward 2 staff were really friendly. However, SOME staff members seem *********** - incapable of adequately explaining medical terminology.

Once admitted into ICU, nurses there, more especially night staff, show a lack of interest in doing their job as mentioned below:

1. Refusal to answer any pending questions on the patient that night nurses took care of. 2.Lacsidasical approach to tending to patients timeously. 3.Inconsistencies and irregularities of information sharing on the patient and on prior information before shift change over. 4. Delays of medical procedures without reason. My father as a chronic patient did not eat, as per the sergeons orders from 7am. He was told his procedure would take place by 2pm but instead it was only done at 6pm. 5. Lack of attention to medical equipment, upon change of bedding, all tubes detached from the patient are left on the floor. 7.BP monitors do not work adequately, and night nurses do not check them regularly. My fathers pressure rose to 205 before he made a telephonic call to us to make us aware that his nurse had been ignoring the monitor. We drove to the hospital at 3 AM where we witnessed the nurse trying to change rubber cuffs and tubes for over 15 minutes to ensure that the vitals monitor worked. We remained at the hospital for 2 hours to ensure that he was seen to. One can imagine the fear and anxiety that he, as a patient underwent. 8. Lastly, physicians chose to attach themselves on the 5th day of being admitted just to make a quick buck. And only exclude themselves when we has family members question them about it.

I would not recommend patients being admitted to this hospital, more especially chronic patients who are in consistent need of medical attention.
