Convenient location: AHA Harbor Bridge near V&A Cape Town

The hotel I am referring to is called AHA HARBOR BRIDGE HOTEL and it is on the canal that links with V&A waterfront. Very pleasant stay and the luxury suite somewhat out dated in terms of interior style but otherwise very comfortable and nice views over the canal. Breakfasts SUPERB! and the pool on the top terrace a nice addition to the hotel with great views of the city and mountain and harbor (loading area) from pool area. Also very helpful reception, although we had to wait about an hour for our room to be ready for occupation. You can take the water-taxi (canal cruise boat) to take you all the way to the V&A and this is a pleasant way to get there in abut 5 minutes (hourly trips & the boat stops right by the hotel). The walk from hotel to V&A will take you about 15 minutes and it is a bit of a guess which direction to go on the walkways for shortest route to V&A if you are walking.
