No refunds for cancelled bookings and doesn't acknowledge cancellations

Booked to stay here via booking.com. The function i was attending in Durban was cancelled due to the Storm that was predicted. I did a cancellation request on booking.com and phoned the hotel and was told I'd get a full refund. 2 Months later and no refund other than emails from the riverside thanking me for my stay that never happened and was cancelled.
