Dissappointing service by AGW Construction

I looked for a company to help me install my water-tanks and pumps. AGW Construction were referred to me by Dial-a-Contractor. They built the concrete bases for and installed the two tanks and the two pumps in February, before the first rains happened.

As my one tank filled up and flowed over, I realized that the inlet pipe had been set lower than the overflow pipe and therefore the water was running out of the tank, where the inlet piple is. The water was soaking the concrete base and my wall next to it and I could not use the overflow pipe to let the excess water run into the garden.

I advised Alec Malgas from AGW Construction about this and he said he would come to seal the inlet pipe properly and to create a new, lower overflow pipe. That was on April 24 - a week later he advised, upon enquiring again, that he had purchased the goods to seal the inlet pipe with and that he would come to do the repairs - at his convenience. I am still waiting.

Now the pump connected to this tank trips my electricity. I assume that water may have gotten into the electrical fixtures, due to the overflowing water running past it and soaking the base of the pump.

I approached Dial-a-Contractor on Friday, June 1, to tell them about the problem that I am having with AGW Construction and was assured that they would attend to my complaint, speak to AGW Construction and get back to me. Two weeks later I have had no response.

Reviewer Update
Since my complaint here and on their Facebook page, the issue with AGW Construction has been acknowledged by AGW Construction and I have been promised that they will do the relevant repairs once the rainy weather has ended and sufficient time can be allocated for the necessary drying period. Until such a time as the relevant repairs have successfully been implemented as well as the possible resulting damage to my property seen to this issue remains unresolved. I shall report back on this forum, as soon as the repairs have been made.
