Stay away from AGS!!!!

We looked at different moving companies to assist us, we had different quotes and AGS came back the most affordable one and to assist us on timelessly delivery. As all companies want we paid the full amount in December, ready for the move in March, as our child will only be a month old. That is where we left it and had still contact with them from time to time.

The day they had to come and pack, there was the issue with the insurance papers not filled out, had to fill them out otherwise they will not pack, then at the end it wasn't necessary. Then they saw, as indicated on our packing list, there is wine, so now a new form to be filled out. As i did this and sent it through, they informed me that no required documents was in our file. I was requested to fill out and exsemption for VAT as I am returning back home to Namibia, and they needed it now! as every one knows this is humanly not possible as it takes if your are lucky 5 working days. Then we got told that our stuff will not arrive on stated date, as I took off from work to over see the unpacking as we have a 1 month old boy. Then to top it all off they arranged a different company to assist to get the stuff here 2 days later, but got told on a Friday afternoon @ 16h00, they are not taking our load as there is more financial viable trip for the moving company. Now I have a fridge and a mattress, for my wife and new born son, and they state they were in the same situation. Then I requested a refund, not possible, asked for a discount for the lack of timing and the extra cost involved in buy things that I have already,.... answer is no we did not agree to time of delivery. Verbally 3 -5days.... I spoke to sales director, apologetic but no action, then she spoke to the regional manager, whom I asked to call me. until now no luck.

I want am getting my stuff delivered of the one company that was 5k more, they keep you up to date. if you need to move or relocated please use NamTrans, 5k more, will save you to spend extra 10k more and ease of mind.
