Be warned - dont use AGS for international moves

I see from other complaints, that AGS has yet to respond to anyone's complaints. suggests a trend in their service delivery and failure to meet customer expectations.

moving house is bad enough but when it involves moving countries - peace of mind is vital that your family memoirs and household comforts will sooner or later join you at your new residence.

In our case this mostly happened - albeit a bit later than sooner

Moving a 20ft container load of household items from Maputo to Entebbe turned to be an absolute nightmare - hence I would certainly not recommend AGS Frasers to any prospective customer. * When loaded in Maputo it all appeared professional and all items were loaded into sealed wooden box pallets - yet when the shipment arrived in Entebbe more than 3 months later, there was not pallet to be seen and all items, without exception, regardless of value and fragility had been loose loaded into the back of an open truck. (type : Fuso Warrior) * Every box and package had been renumbered - so that nothing corresponded to our packing list. * Every box and package had been relabelled with another persons name - perhaps suggesting that they had loaded someone else's invoice and pocketed my fee - or at very least dodged some customs official. * Having been offloaded / loaded and again offloaded onto / from an open truck - there were bound to be breakages. The shipment was well insured - yet when it came to claim. Their Kampala branch blamed the Maputo branch etc. etc. - end result was my claim was bounced once too many times between offices, lost and never honoured.

Repeated mails remained unanswered - and then...... the cheek of it all - an AGS consultant comes to my offices knowing that I have a claim issue, yet enquires if they can offer their services. I guess not.
