Do not buy Kaufmann pumps

I bought a Kaufmann swimming pool pump(800Watt) at Chamberlains. It comes with its own hose connectors. At the time I thought what's a bargain. However, when I got at home and opened the pump, I saw the connectors was nonstandard. So, I had to replace my old pumps hose connectors to accommodate the Kaufmann pump. This was not a concern at the moment. But I went to Chamberlains to buy another set of these connectors just for incase. To my surprise they do not stock this hose connectors and basically told me I had to go to Agrinet to buy them because they are the sole importers of this product. So, I went to Agrinet Centurion to buy these connectors.

I first went to their little outlet shop in 111 Sterling Road, Kosmosdal. They did not have this hose connector in their shop. I asked for assistance and the friendly personnel also did not know about this hose connector. After a long wait and eventually having to open a new Kaufmann pump out of the box and multiple technical personal to have look, they realized that they do not have spare hose connectors for this pump.

After allot of promises to phone me back to try and get me some spares this still has not happened. After installing the pump and thank goodness not needing this spare connector the pump works fine. However, If something where to happen and I needed new hose connectors I would not be able to get this anywhere and I would be forced to buy an new pump. I would not advise anyone to buy this pump. And if Aginet gives this bad service I would even strongly discourage anyone from buying anything from them!!
