URGENT REFUND REQUIRED

I have booked a reservation for 2 nights at a hotel in Mestre Venezia, which I then cancelled in time to not pay anything. Then on the 18th June an amount was debited from my account. I then contacted Agoda to query this where they notified me that the amount debited was not from this booking. When I arrived back in South Africa, I send them a bank statement as proof , they then contacted me to ask for my credit card number , they checked and said that I have booked another reservation and that is the amount that was debited , On my phone app it is only this one, according to them my wife booked the other reservation , my wife does not even have the app on her phone and has also not even heard of this company till I told her about this. I will not advise anybody to ever book through Agoda because the take money for something you have not booked,
