****!!!

I booked a canal quays apartment this morning on Agoda.com. The WORST decision ever. Their website is very misleading and deceiving. They say FREE CANCELLATIONS. Enter your card details but you will NOT BE CHARGED NOW. Guess what?? As soon as you enter your card details and "confirm" booking,the money is out if your bank. In my case unfortunately i used a card with insufficient funds to test if there was going to be an attempt to deduct money from my account immediately,assuming that if that happened then my bank would decline. Well FNB decided to "honour"the transaction and now my account is over withdrawn AND i cant get hold of Agoda as easily as i could make a booking and as quickly as they took my non existing money.

I would NEVER RECOMMEND BOOKING WITH THEM EVER. Because to make matters worse,as soon as the booking is finalised suddenly the "free cancellation" no longer applies, it is now " non refundable", "cannot amend or make any changes to the booking". WOW!!

Also Canal quays apartments "unfortunately"doesnt get involved in this ****,when it comes to customer complaint.

BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING WITH THEM,OR JUST DONT DO IT.
